What happens to my messages after you take them?
All of your messages will be automatically forwarded to the relevant person via their preferred method, whether that’s email, text or through our dedicated customer portal.

Messages are stored in your client portal so you can refer back to them later, or find them if you accidentally delete a message we’ve forwarded to you. You’ll also get access to every call recording that is dealt with by your virtual receptionists, so you can review how each call is being handled and request changes if you’re not satisfied with anything regarding your call answering service.
What happens if I only want some calls to be answered?
Our answering service call handlers will only answer the calls you want them to. We’ll discuss your exact requirements as part of your initial onboarding, whether you’re signing up for a free trial or starting a new contract. Can you transfer calls to my cell phone?
Our virtual receptionists can transfer calls to any phone number you wish, whether it’s an office line, home line, or cell phone (other than the one forwarded to YourReceptionist). Additional fees may apply for numbers outside of North America. Many customers give us multiple phone numbers so that we have a variety of ways to reach them.
Can receptionists collect payment information?
Yes, YourReceptionist is happy to now offer optional PCI-compliant service in which receptionists can enter credit card information into your existing payment system. Before getting started, we’ll review your payment link to make sure it fits within our guidelines.
